Who's hands would you want to put the ball in when you needed a bucket and especially with a few seconds left in the game? I saw him do it many many many times. MJ

As for Bill Russell, he never played against numerous competitors like Mike. The NBA was still very white.

Look, Lebron may have all the talent in the world, and may be a very good leader, but there is NO COMPARISON. You can't compare someone with NO TITLES, NO CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP APPEARENCES, AND NO MVP'S to someone many consider to be the GREATEST ever. It's like with Tomlinson in football. He's been great, and MAY end up being thought of as the best, but he's only played half a career. Lebron has played LESS THAN HALF of his likely career. There is no way you can compare the two right now!

Jordan is obviously the better player for now, but that doesn't mean that Lebron can't be better because he is part of the next generation of basketball and Jordan was the best player during his generation because of his talent and lack of great opponents.

the best was Russell and his celtic teams...11 titles in 13 years playing in the bigs(would have been 12 if not for an ankle injury), back to back college titles (55 game win streak), and winning his gold medal before going pro...being so highly revered that he was made the first black coach in a major american sport...done in a time where black players couldnt eat, or room with white players...in a city like boston...now you tell me mike could have done that, or put up with that...now lebron...just something shiny compared to a real star (MJ) or a legend (big Bill) (no jewelry (title rings) for Lebron until he leaves Cleveland or they lose that coach...maybe none ever)...

Jodan was the best there was, the best there is, and the best there ever will be. James can't hold Mike's jock!
