The family is the basic social unit God created to provide a person's central relationships, growth and support. A family is begun when a couple leaves their birth families to marry one another, support one another, and raise children. The New Testament, especialy, focuses on God's people as a family with God as Father and His people as children.
The family is initiated by God. It is blessed for procreation. It is the basic unit of society socially and economically. The family is the basis for understanding the love relationship of God and His people. It can be the education center for teaching young people about God, His purposes and His ways.
The Bible began with one family; God's elect pople began with the call of a family to make a major life adjustment; and Jesus used family life to illustrate kingdom life. God recognized that people function best in family settings. He expected marriage to last a lifetime but knew that some people could serve Him best by remaining single.
The family should talk with God as family decisions are made. Trust in God is gained and nurtured in the family of faith. ^_^

In many societies, family ties are only those recognized as such by law or a similar normative system. Article 16(3) of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights says: "The family is the natural and fundamental group unit of society and is entitled to protection by society and the State".

Family is people that always help doing something. And family is always near you, even you are in trouble, family will help you.

Family is a group of 2 or more people who rely on each other and support each other no matter what - above all else. They put each others priorities above their own.

i have "family" that i was born into that i hardly talk to they are just rude mean nasty ppl and i don't live like that
then i have MY "FAMILY" who are loving caring ppl i hold very close to me i have an older friend whom i look to for motherly issues
REMEMBER YOU CAN NOT CHOOSE THE FAMILY YOU WERE BORN INTO BUT YOU CAN CHOOSE YOUR FRIENDS
