2.0 usb hub??

I have an old laptop that only has one usb port, and its 1.0. If I hook up a four way hub that is 2.0, will the devices run at 2.0, or will they still run at the low speed?

It'll still be limited by the USB 1.0 port. The port acts like a funnel, since the data still needs to get transmitted through that slow USB 1.0 port.

The 2.0 USB hubs are shipped with the loptops now a days. It can support devices which require more power.
