Faith is absolute confidence in the Person of God and what He says He will do. Faith in God through Jesus Christ and His work of salvation brings you into the love relationship with God called salvation. In that relationship, faith is confidence that what God has promised or said will come to pass. faith is based on God's poer, not on human potential.
Faith is the Bible's central term describing the human attitude God expects for a person to be in a love relationship with Him. Faith means trusting God's leadership in life's decisions. It is seeking to join God in His work rather than doing work to gain God's approval. Faith is replying on God's love and grace for salvation rather than on religious activities and programs. Faith is maintaining confidence on God through all of life's experiences and troubles.
Lack of faith leads you to depart from God. Faith leads you to cry for help, repent, experience revival and reach out to the lost.

Faith is a belief, trust, or confidence, not based on proof or material evidence, but based fundamentally on volition often associated with a transpersonal relationship with a deity, a higher power, a person, elements of nature, and/or a perception of the human race as a whole. Faith can be placed in a person, inanimate object, state of affairs, proposition or body of propositions such as a religious creed.
