Is it immoral to eat another human even if you are just scavenging a carcas purely for your own survival?

Yes, people often think that it is un-natural but when it comes down to it, humans are animals. Some people will never do such a thing but others will follow their most basic instinct and that is survive. Therefore, I don't believe that anyone can judge another person who HAD to do it because people's way of thinking changes when you are put into a corner where it is either eat or die and this animal instinct will not show until you are in that situation. Therefore, you never who might resort to eating another human when the need arises because in truth we cannot trust even ourselves.

If the guy is already dead, then, ya. He's just meat. I don't see anything immoral about that. I'm not saying it would be easy or pleasant. Now it's a different matter if you are starving and start killing people with the sole purpose of eating them. That is murder and immoral.

I would somehow agree with you, even though I would not want to see the carcass carved up......If I saw it done I would probably choke or puke, or even thought about who it was.....ugh. I would not make a good survivor, but if it were for survival, and I never thought about it before, I'm not sure I could handle it.

of course it's NOT immoral. Nobody should be blamed for survival instinct. a human body can supply a lot of meat, I guess...

Its no worse than eating any other animal. Humans are just hypocrites. killing is killing.
