I am Nigerian and think that this is reason is suspect ! Why would your dad fire you if you don't marry an American? Please be true and state the real reason you want to marry an American. If its for papers, you might find that this would backfire. Stay in Italy and find yourself a bride there.

That's a very unfair thing for him to say and do.
Why kind of a man sets an ultimatian like that. No one should force an unhappy and forced marriage together for the sake of family or honor.
Surely having your own son being happy than resenting you for the rest of your life is more important is it not?
But hey if that doesn't work or you're deeply desparate, buy a bride as no sane woman would meet and marry a guy in 2 months.

You don't GET a wife. You date different women until you FIND the right one. You will soom realize that, when you come to the U.S.
Why does she need to be American? Are you looking for a free pass into the states? If you are, convenience marriages are strictly monitored, and very illegal in the U. S.

Let me get this straight, you want to marry an American so you can get into the US? If that's true, you sir, are a horrible person and I've got news for you, that doesn't guarantee that you get to stay in the US. If she finds out that you married her solely to get into the country you can be deported back to Nigeria.
