I think the whole experience of beingg completely immersed is so different from bein dry in the surface I think that pulling those emotions out would be quite difficult
So probaly not being saddend is someting we do out of water so I think the crying would be out of water rather than immersed normally speaking

im pretty sure u can and why would anyone wanna do that.. i mean cmon....lifes hard enough and cryin is one outlet u wanna make that difficult too doin it underwater ???.. but i wouldnt know.. i cant swim so cryin under there is out of the question !

Depends on how deep you are and the pressures on your eye tear ducts....you could cry bodily but tears? I doubt it...how would you know?

yes, but it's quite unpleasant. water gets up your nose, or you inhale some, and chlorine gets in your eyes... not fun.
once an ex made me cry at a public pool, and i didn't want anyone to see, so i went underwater, but it just made me look worse- red eyes and everything... ugh. not fun.
