Well i put my ipod in the charge on my computer and usually itunes pops up but it didn't so i clicked onto itunes and it came up but wasn't recognising my ipod so i took my ipod out and put it back again and then it kinda recognised it and then it froze and then when i opened itunes up again it said that my ipod couldn't hold anymore songs and that it was full but when i checked my ipod it was empty and nothing on it :S

i tried uninstalling and installing it again and when i open itunes it says corrupt file or something like that??

put the ipod on hold.take it off hold, hold the menu and centre buttons down until the apple logo comes up.

if it doesnt work,go on the aplle website, download the updater and restore the ipod, this will clear everything but the music will still be in itunes

when u take out your i-pod do u eject it / remove it properly or just rip out the cable? this affects the i-pod or any memory device and can take off all the files. as for what's happened now its a bit confusing... take it back and make sure u get a proper one again.
