mac msn messenger problems!! :(?

hey i have a mac, and i use msn messenger, but when im on campus i just cant log in.. i guess its something about the proxies or so, but im kind of stressed out about that, do you know something i could do!?! when i try to log in its says something about a timed out connection and a problem 1863.. pleasee helppp!!!

1863 is the port that MSN uses. It appears that your school has blocked that port, and unfortunately, short of getting a job on their tech staff, there isn't anything you can do about it. Perhaps you can convince your friends to get Yahoo, AIM, or Google Talk accounts instead.
