I've seen scenes from a few of his comedies though don't remember the names. You can't always go by the trailer though. Anybody see some of his movies and tell which you think is his best / funniest.

It's BERT Lahr. Rose Marie, Mr. Universe, Meet the People, Josette, Flying High (topping the bill), Ship Ahoy - all prior to 1960. In later years he appeared mostly in TV show episodes.

Unfortunately Burt Lahr made many movies before and after WIZARD OF OZ but as a classic movie buff I can tell you that none are memorable. Go to IMDB.com for a complete list. I doubt after reading his filmography you will not find a single movie that you've seen, but good luck anyway.
