There are so many great ones out there, but if I have to pick one, I'd go with Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball. His anime is aired worldwide and he lives off of the royalties of his works. You can never guess how much he earns a year.

Who ever does Garfield. I love Garfield.

Illustrator: Maxfield Parrish. He gave us Parrish Blue for one of the best shades of Blue in Art. Wow!
