One more time: There can be no exact definition to the meaning of life that could possible fit the mold of all the peoples' in the universe. It is an age old question and if it could have been answered it would have and that is what we would be discussing now. However; it cannot be. The purpose in life can fit many. But, the meaning in life you find out only after death.

Life could be like a candle that burns and stays alive, and when it does, it gives forth light, the light to see and also to be seen, for a candle not only sees things but also helps other see better in its presence.
When we seek the meaning of life in words then we attempt to look only into things of life one after another, and know about life only partially, never in entirety, for nothing in life can encapsulate fully the entire meanings of life. The sense of being alive however can be enhanced when we seek and search, and when we follow right paths along our search we get closer to the reality of our existence. The only way we can ever find the meaning of life full is to live it all, to live life to its best right from the beginning to the very end, if there is any.
We all ask this question and seek the answer, some people ask in words while others ask through their actions. When people make an effort, or try their best to accomplish something in good faith in life and wait for the outcome, they in fact ask the same question – is this what life would mean for me? And when they succeed in their efforts they realised that they were right, and that they have understood life a little better, and then they try again, and again. Some people ask the same question when they love, when they hope and aspire. Whereas there are some people along this search who ask the same question in there silence, as they do good service to themselves and to their fellow human being, people who work quietly and learn to live with thankfulness, patience and in acceptance.

Meaning of life is a very strange thing. We struggle, run, rush, stress, fight, happiness, unhappiness, anger, devestation, divorce, marriage, children, grand children, - anything that goes goes goes - and each individual - dominant or not dominant person, male or female - wants her/his way, going forward, hoping, dreaming, planning, making a house, family, going to school - any stage.
and one day comes an age of 60. Sitting in front of your window, looking outside and thinking - Life has flown so fast. what was it all about? I stressed, rushed, faught for all my rights, had ups and downs, for what? My next step is just .... somewhere that my life will end...
This was the conversation with a woman that just became 60 last week. This woman has been the most dominant, pain in the batt, controlling, bossy, perfectionist person I have ever knew....
.... and now? she has calmed, and thoughts about life has changed. The meaning of life is to live as each day comes. Not planning the whole year, as you never know where you will end even tomorrow at this time.
Good luck to everyone to know about it, before going age 60, 70, 80 and ...

The meaning of life is so deep that we can not know it as long as we are floating in lifetime. In other words, we have to get liberated from life to properly understand what its real meaning or purpose is. I am therefore not too curious.... at least not as yet!!
