No you can't on the DVD because it is a read only medium. But you can use a program to 'back' it up and then remove the region code so that the 'backup' plays as a non-regional DVD. DVDFab is one such program.

No.
The region coding is burned into the disc when it is produced, it cannot be changed. You will need to make your DVD player multi-region in order to play it.
If you can't (because your player is 'region locked'), you will need to purchase a Region 2 version of the disc, or buy a new player...

No, I don't think so.
What you have to do is change the Hardware IE the player. If you do not have a multi region, it may be possible to punch in a code to convert it. There are various sites that allow this.

You have to make you DVD player region free. It is nothing to do with the DVD itself.

No you cant, once the DVD is burnt there is no way of changing it, but go to http://www.dvdcodes.net/ to unlock the DVD player. This will not harm the player. It works i have done it to my Philips
