There are plenty of jobs to be had in Central FL (Orlando area) where I live and I would be happy to try to help but am not sure what information you are looking for. Feel free to email me with questions you have.

Very vague question. Any particular type of work? Location? Anything? Disney World is always an option as is anything in the tourism/hospitality industry. I live in South Florida, Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area. If you don't have any serious ties to anything I suggest joining a cruise ship or getting into yachting. That's what I do. Great for young people looking for adventure. Without more specifics, that's the best I can do.

Check job listings on Monster.com , hotjobs.com or a local newspaper. The wages in most of Florida are lower than other states, but the plus is that there isn't a state income tax. Good luck.

What do you do? Are you talking south Florida or the panhandle area? The one good thing about moving to Florida right now -- you've got your choice of houses wherever you end up. Financing and home owner's insurance, now that's another story.

Just like you said, move there and then find work.
Go to Craigslist and look for a roommate or apartment, and also work.
On second thought...try and find an area of Florida you'd like to live in first...and then check out Craigslist.com
