Hi,
Well I do not think anybody should suffer in silence.
You do not have to accept violence from your child. I think you should ask for some help.
If you do not know where to start go to the citizen's advice bureau they can help you with almost anything you ask, they are very nice and helpful people and everything you tell them is confidential.
You can also ask your GP he/she will tell you where to seek advice for you child's behaviour.
Anyhow, I think this is a serious problem and you would do yourself and your child a favour by asking a proffesional for help. If your child is violent towards you, you can imagine what he is going to be like with other people when he grows old. You do not want him to end up in prison or hurt do you?
I understand it is hard to ask for help as you are probably ashamed but trust me if you do not do anything it will get worse.
Good luck to you I really hope you find a solution to your problem.

Im sorry this is happening to you,if your child is young(you didn't say)you need to talk yo your GP who can get you help.
If the child is over 18,throw them out of your house, the police will help,no one should put up with violence towards them in any shape or form, neither should you feel ashamed.
