i don't think so. a lot of people i know passed the DLSU entrance exams including me some years back.. be confident about your abilities. if even before you take the exam, you are already having inhibitions about your capacity, i don't think you'll make it. nervousness has no place in entrance exams. ok, a little nervousness is good. but you have to believe in yourself that you can do it. i don't think it will matter if you've studied in the US prior to taking the exams. i believe 1+1 there is 2 so don't think of it as a disadvantage. before anybody else, you have to believe in yourself that you can make it.
goodluck!

The DLSU entrance test is a standardized test somewhat (but not completely) similar to the US SATs. It's multiple choice, and you shade in the dot corresponding to your choice on your answer sheet. The testing usually takes a whole morning and covers general academic proficiency (including but not exclusive to math, science, English). If you've taken the SATs (which I'm assuming you have) you'll be fine.
The only catch is that there are several thousand students who take the test at DLSU every year, and I think admission is based on how well you do in comparison to everyone else, so focus on getting a stellar result.

No, in the States, they teach you the easier and simpler way to understand things. In the Philippines, some teachers like to teach the long, traditional way so I don't think you'd have any problems. I studied in both countries and I passed the DLSU test. It's one of the easier ones. Good luck. I don't know why you want to study there. It is harder to get into the major you want because there's so much competition for majors.

me and some of my classmates took the dlsu entrance exam last october 2006, if i'm not mistaken and out of 28 examinees in our class, 18 passed, including me.. i was accepted in my 1st choice of course.. the exam is quite easy.. it only needs basic knowledge in highschool.. it's as if you're just taking the SAT, however, there is an essay part.. a question in filipino and another one in english..
