Practice started this week, and i stupidly landed on the corner of a coffee table, yeah sounds stupid. But i have a bruise on my heel and it needs to go, ASAP. I can't put pressure on it, how do i get rid of a bruise on such an awkward place??

Try socking it in the hottest water you can stand for about five minutes or more, then as soon as you pull it out of the water, hit it with some real cold water. Yeah your foot is going to shake like crazy, but it will help. Do this about two time a day. Hot swells the bone and tissue releasing the bad blood, and cold shrinks it back into place.

The idea is not to put pressure on the heal so that it heals fast. Also avoid getting the place wet. Maybe propping ur feet up on a pillow after application of some ointment & taking things easy for a couple of days, could do the trick.
