Where I am right now, you have to look no farther than at a park, a bench, or a busstop on a nice warm day. I am a guy and a few days ago a 70 something widower asked if he could sit on the same bench. I said, sure mister. Then he proceeded to tell me how sad life is, that his friend had diabetes and had his legs removed, and life is a joke. I told him my opinions, then my wife saw me in a moment of (please get me out of here) and she put on her cape and cowl and flew to me and threw her lasso of truth around my torso so we could fly back to Edenia. Atleast that´s how it felt when my wife came and saved me...lol. But if I was out alone that day, sitting at the bench, I would have had a much longer conversation with the guy. So all in all, they will be on public benches or busstops on beautiful sunny days. Good luck.
And just talk to them, they are out because they want to have a conversation. Any nice lady that starts a conversation with somebody is going to get a conversation more or less.

Please give it a serious thought. You are making it sound like buying and selling used cars. Best way is to find out yourself with the same seriousness that you should have for the first time lover.
Remember about the adjustments that both will have to make with the existing families.
