of course it does !! india is the largest democratic nation in the world !! and if you are trying to point out that the indian democracy is not VERY successful, i may as well tell you that though it is not very successful, india has, however sustained the democracy for nearly 60 years now instead of an army chief taking over the command...we still have elections and therefore it HAS a democracy !!
