On Adobe Photoshop CS2, I keep on getting this popup after awhile, that says 'Cannot do So&So (even saving!) as the Scratch Disks are full' And I've searched everywhere looking for these mysterious Scratch disks but couldn't find them.
Help?

Mmm, I'm on a laptop also, if it makes a difference.

Scratch disk is the drive where Photoshop stores its temporary file, which makes up for the History panel in the right side of the software (you can revert back to what you did in history if you're not satisfied with the current modification). It can be set in Edit > Preferences > search it there i cannot remember which because I'm not using my own computer right now. I usually set my scratch disk in the drive with the largest space available. If the disk is full, you cannot carry out the saving function.

You're using a laptop? How big is your hard drive? How many partition do you have? How much free space do you have? If it is not so much, you can just save bit by bit in doing your project and close the project or the software after using it a bit to remove the temporary files, but this way you cannot revert to what you've done before in history panel.

the scratch disk is the fast-term area that photoshop makes use of once you run out of reminiscence. flow to the edit menu > ideas > scratch disks and assign one among you walls as a "scratch disk" and make certain it has sufficient loose area
