i get redirected to spyware sheriff when searching and accessing sites such as grisoft.com, adaware, spybot search and destroy!!
what should i do??

I used ethereal and this is some info i found in the redir packet.... pls help

1) Do not pay 'spywaresherrif' a dime, any crook that hijacks your PC to sell you their software is de-facto a crook so their software is likely crooked.

2) Can you download ad-aware on someone elses computer and then install it on yours without using the browser?

Then install a firewall and an antivirus on your PC when it's well again. Or (as with my stepson's PC...) it was so badly hosed up by all the garbage he'd let on it that it needed a rebuild from CD.
