I agree with the others. always go with your gut feeling! Go with the field you are interested in and enjoy. Life is to short, happiness , health and peace of mind is what it is all about.

Can yuou live without being a "success"-however, you define that?
Why would anyone choose a job they are not happy in doing-a career they find blah. If you like something in a lower paying job over a high paying pressure stress driven arena-with higher pay, which do you think you would like best and are you willing to pay the price to be a success. Someone will always come along smarter and better at what you do and climbing the ladder of success is slow death-go for happiness and satisfaction knowing you are doing what you like and who knows-it may lead to great things and even more happiness.

Answer this, and you may find the answer:
Do you love what you are studying??
You can even stop sleeping to keep going on it??
Would you like to have a job were you can apply what you are learning on it??
Do you feel passion when you talk about youre actual career??
Do you may be better on something else??
I think those are the most important ones, once you have answered them you may have found the answer...
I did it myself and never been so happy before

Always go with your gut reaction - practice! animals do this all the time they instinctively know - as humans some of us have just forgot. Fight or flight. As we get older so our gut becomes stronger. Hope that makes sense.

You should go for the Career that holds your interest. one that you enjoy doing. if you go for less, you will never amount to your best abilities. and you will always wonder whether or not you would of succeeded. if you take the lesser choice. you will be less then..

Go for the job you enjoy, and that's challenging enough to keep you interested, otherwise you'll get bored and hate yourself.

If you are happy with your line of work you will be happier. I've seen to many miserable people working at jobs they hate.
