I am looking for a really unique design for an engagement ring. Can anyone recommend any websites that they might have used or know about.

Please don't suggest "google" etc etc......I have spent ages on there and on search engines.

I was wondering if anyone has any PERSONAL experience for suggestions or recommendations.

THANKS!

Not a website, but I had a ring made for me in a jewellers (in Rusholme in Manchester, but I'm sure you'd be able to find someone where you are). There was a range of basic styles to choose from and I then adapted it to what I wanted, precisely. It only took a week or so and I absolutely love the result. Ask around in your local area to see if someone can offer you the same service. Good luck.

Try

www.gems.tv

I have bought jewellery for my wife on here and found it to be cheaper than high street prices by a mile - they also make limited quantities with all types of stones - they are on Sky channel 646 & 660.

Example - I bought my wife an ALEXANDRITE eternity ring and paid £24.99 for it - I had it independently valued when it arrived and was shocked to find that the valuation was £220.

They also stock and auction all types of stones - even some you may not have heard of - worth a try

Try Stephen Einhorn in London (www.stepheneinhorn.co.uk).

Go to zales.com, they have a place that you can design your own engagement ring.
