I know they have to get naked in front of each other and all that, but do they actually have sex or do they just fake it? Sucks for the significant others if they actually do it...

they don't do it. in some rare cases (foreign films) they do, but even they don't do it in most of theirs. just dry humping ;) and on some of the cheesier ones you can tell that their parts aren't even aligned (she's grinding on his stomach)... unless those Hollywood actors have some of those L shaped parts!!

Watch the movie Brown Bunny,the last 12 mins does have an actual sex scene,oral sex between the actor and actress.

Not in most cases. But yes they do like in movie "Nine Songs." The foreplay is true but the further actions are all fake. The actors/actresses are mostly characterless people, so there is no any hesitation to do real action. But normly these scenes are real in foreplays and fake in climax.

99% of the time NO they really aren't having sex. There were a few notorious instances where the sex was supposedly real.
Wild Orchids comes to mind. Supposedly Mickey Rourke and Carrie Otis were really getting it on when the cameras were rolling.

the guy usauly wears a sock like thing (not a condom) and you dont see that on the show-film. Also a lot of times the woman isnt really naked. dont know how much she wears underneath if anything, but the woman (maybe the man also) usualy wears a body suit.. nearly no part of the body you see outside of porn is real skin.

No real sex while shooting the scene. But I understand there is lots of real sex after shooting. That is why many spouses go on location. It must be difficult turning all those feelings off!

In most cases, it's simulated. Some of the more out-there movies show actual sex (other than porn), but it's rare.
