My husband proposed to me after 10 days of meeting him for the first time. I am 29 yrs old.

He talked Marriage on the first date--he said that he was looking for a wife and not another relationship. I was looking for a husband and not a boyfriend so we kept dating. By our third date he asked me to marry him and three months later we had our big weddin' with all the trimmings.
I do have to tell you though that I was 28 and still a virgin and he was 33 and was moving up in his field where he'd been working since he was 17. In other words he was the stability I was looking for and I was the damsel in distress that he wanted to save.
We were and are both really grounded and did a lot of talking about our future.
I was still a virgin on our wedding night and that has given me a lot of leverage in our now 8 years of wedded bliss. He trusts me and I think he's the greatest thing since the internet!

Well, we'd dated off and on for 3 years before he proposed, but that latest relationship had been going on for 3 days before he popped the question. We were both 18.

Only 2 months. I was 20, he was 29. I know that is fast, but it just felt so damned right. We're having a long engagement though (haven't completely lost our senses) and 2 years later are still going strong.

It took him 2 1/2 years, which was good because he did it right before he left to the Army when we were both 18 and we are now happily married.

Depend on theirself.
I'm 19.
Took 3,5 for my bf to propose (It's only a week ago!)
And I'll get marry on May 12th this year.

he still did not propose to me even though we are together for over 3 years now.... i guess these things cannot be rushed, so i wait :))
