It definitely affects people and animals. When it is raining, my dog is very lethargic. He will sleep on the couch all day and just doesn't want to do anything. People tend to do the same. You notice it when the sun comes out. All of a sudden they perk up and come to life. especially when its been raining for a longer period.
A teacher once told me that she notices how the weather affects her students. They are young and are more agitated and difficult to control when the weather is stormy. They are less attentive, easily agitated. But the class is much better when the sun is out.
I notice that I tend to drink more dark and dry reds during the cooler weather, but when it's really cold, I feel like the sweeter ports. The air pressure also affects me. When the pressure drops from an approaching low, my body tends to ache and become sluggish. I crave carbs. I eat heavier in the winter and lighter in the summer.
Weather affects everyone whether they are in tune to it or not. There's lots of subconscious things going on with us that we don't realize.

Yes it does, although I don't make wine, it does affect wine drinking though: in hot weather I'm likely to drink more rose and white wine, when it's cold I'll drink more red.
