its unfortunate, but the most stressful thing to a little hamster is moving to a new home. Through the stress they can develop a desiese known as wet tail and die very quickly from it. It could also of been heart faliure from the shock of it all. Sounds upsetting I know but if you are thinking of getting a new friend here are some tips. Once you have gentley placed him in his new home, put the cage somewhere very quiet, and LEAVE HIM! give him at least 2 or3 days to get used to his new surroundings. It is tempting to stroke or hold him, but he bit you because he was very scared. When the time has come to get to know him be patient as it will take him a week or two to get used to him, speak very gently to him and say his name all the time so he recognises your voice and introduce him to your hand by feeding him little treats. Hold your hand flat so he can smell you and get used to your scent. Do this over a course of a week or two and he will eventually climb onto your hand. It takes time and patience but the results are worth it, they love human interaction and coming out of the cage for a play. Good luck x

It took you 10years to realize that there may be a problem!! I think you have some brain problem. That part of the brain that makes you worry is probably missing. I suggest you see a brain doctor.
