Should we make both languages, English and Spanish the official languages of the United States,? Both languages are the most spoken languages across America.

English should be the official language of America. Spanish should NEVER be the official language!!!!!!!!!

I don't care that many people speak Spanish. This has been an English speaking country since it became a country. It is insulting to even consider Spanish as an official language!

Definitely, YES!

Monolingualism is a retrograde educational/political policy !
The USA is the second most Hispanic( Spanish Speaking) country in this continent after Mexico!
In the USA, We have Spanish and British colonies, like Canada British and French.
I support Bilingualism! Must be mandatory in any public school!

Yes. Both languages are the most spoken, so both should become official languages.

No, Spanish is the language of non-citizins mostly.

English is the language of the United States. English and English alone.

Hell no. Make the official language of an english speaking nation spanish? HELL NO! Would you make the official language of China to speak Danish? See how idiotic that would be?

To make Spanish as an official language of the US would only empower these criminal illegals who already have enough machismo to destroy a whole country.

ummmm, NO. The only reason this is being considered is because a lot of spanish speeking families REFUSE to learn english. If my ancestors had refused to learn english this would have to be an Italian speeking country too. SIMPLY PUT: the offical language of America is ENGLISH. So learn it. Otherwise it's not fair to all the people who work hard to learn english coming from other countries. Why should one race get special treatment?!?!? They shouldnt!!!! I work in hospitals in california and I find it disgusting that we have to cater to anyone who speeks spanish just to be politically correct. And by the way, IT'S NOT RACIST, it's just that everyone who wants come to america and be a citizen needs to become AMERICAN. Keep your traditions, keep your culture, but LEARN ENGLISH LIKE EVERYONE ELSE DID.

Just english. Call me old fashioned but that's the way it has been for centuries. Why should we change now? If people of other cultures want to live here and be able to communicate with us then they should learn our language. We shouldn't have to learn their language so we can communicate with them.
