only like 10% are super intelligent. Perhaps thats what the US government likes (easy to manipulate) like a bunch of chickens in a coupe.

They're not dumb, they're just complacent. Give us your cable TV, your PS2, and the $1 menu at McDonalds, and we'll let you run the country however you see fit. Just don't bother us. At least, that's how it looks to me when I look around at the people where I live. None of them are unintelligent, they just really don't care about anything beyond their four walls.

I wouldn't say American's are dumb. I would say they have been dumbed down. By that I mean they are taught only what they need to know to be effective (or ineffective) citizens of this country. Our public education system is designed to produce people smart enough to keep the economy going and maybe invent some new stuff but gullible enough to believe everything they are told and given an attention span long enough for them to be mad about it for a while and then give up.
Our society is totally controlled by the elite that run our country.

Dumb means: Slow to learn or understand; lacking intellectual acuity
and My understanding is that they only understand what they like to and ignore every other point of view.
So, dumb is not suitable word. You have to look for some other word.

Nope I would not !! because all of my American friends are very bright !! and i have to judge Americans in that contest ! though i have quite opposite views about American governament !

they are most selfish like citizens of any other developed nation, and hence they are dumb when the burning issue concerns the others.
