working as sales - go from one place to another.. spending a lot of gasoline, tired of telling ppl about the product and asking for their money to buy the product.., being ashamed if they reject or shout at u or slam the door, get sweaty coz its hot and its far.. etc
or..
working in the office - running out of time for the dateline, work until late, your brain is full of things because of the dateline, u cant sleep (lack of sleep) coz your brain is always working, or even u didnt sleep till couple days, miscalculate so its not balanced and you have to redo it over again!

Actually I think it mostly depends on your personality and how you relate to your job.So what is worse for us may not be that worse for others. to me I would say probably sales is worse because I'm more attuned to office stuffs so work related stress and deadlines and all are fine with me I guess.

Did both, I worked for large financial institution for a little over 7 years and thought sales would be the last thing I would ever do until Mary Kay. It is not like other sales companies at least that's not how I run my business. I provide a personalized service to people teaching skin care and color cosmetic application. I have a gift giving service and have made a lot of great friends not "sales" I build relationships with my customers and that's the important difference for me.

Sales is worse but u should look at the money factor b/c if u r getting frustrated for the office job that u get more in so many number of sales then do the sales at least in 1 way u at peace. and u should not be embarrass for doing honest work just use it as a stepping stone. Good luck.

Neither is better or worse than other. i would go for teaching where you need to give very few lectures in a week and get full 2 months holiday in a year.:)

but for the above question, Sales is worse than sitting in the office.

Try getting a real job, busting your butt for 10 hours a day. Under appreciated, underpaid and covered in dirt or oil or both. Then find out that the whole job/parts you made/work done has not passed inspection and you have to work on Saturday to make up for it. Try that and then whine about a sales or office job!!
