I doubt what you say is true. The U.S. has a free press that is interested in horrific crimes. There are not that many other nations with a truely free press.

By the way, are you talking about North America, Central America or South America? You may have just pissed off alot of Canadians and Mexicans.

America might appear to have a large number of serial killers but it also has one of the largest populations in the world. America is a large western democracy where killers are expected to be caught. Lots of money and man hours are directed to finding and prosecuting killers. Poorer nations have other more pressing concerns, in many cases the police are seriously corrupted and only cater to the rich. Then there is the media in America which makes celebrities out of them. There are crime channels, movies and books all about serial killers. It's just because we hear about them more.

It's all about the media my friend. Do some research, then learn to separate real life and the mush society feeds you.
Be more specific with the word "America" next time; America isn't a country, it's an entire two continents, research that as well.

Are you kidding? Look at what really goes on in other countries, America is a pick-nick compared to other places, the only difference is the sensationalism of the press.

I think you are wrong in this analysis...it is the American media that shows us all these crimes...believe me, much much much more gruesome and horrible crimes happen in many failed states (africa, middle east, west asia)...we only dont see them so they dont seem to be happening, and whats more is that in those countries these horrible crimes are so common its not big news...the worse part of it all is that in these failed states most of these crimes are commited or endorsed by local government or religious authorities.
