OH i learned thirs in history so first of all trees and forest will decrease and as you know we need trees fro wood ,paper..etc and oxygen so people are starting to make fake trees like scientific found a way how to genetically make one and also we will lose a lot of animals and all the ice will melt in Antarctica so a lot of animals will die and also because of the fast fall of low temperatures a lot of cities and countries will be flooded with water like the tsunami and a lot of hurricanes also because the ice melted in Antarctica so all the water from it will cause alot of damage to homes, cities,..etc
hope i can help : )

You are speaking about the "green lung" of earth. Forests turn carbon dioxide into oxygene. With other words, we will encounter a serious problem if deforestation continues the way it currently does. An area as large as Great Britain dissapears every year from the surface of earth. Especially fast at the Amazon Rain forest in Brazil, which is the largest tropical rain forest. At the pace right now it will be gone by 2025.
Once gone, rain forests cannot be recreated, because its loose fertile soil erodes faster than any tree will grow, leaving behind nothing but badlands and even desert (look up the expansion of the Sahara desert in Africa).
Further, the lack of natural canopy after deforestation will also have an affect on global temperatures, which are rising already due to the greenhouse effect.
Not even mentioning the affects on wildlife that depends on large woods; many species will vanish right with our forests.

If deforestation continues there's not going to be much left for future generations to study and appreciate. Not only is deforestation reducing the number of species we know, and those yet to be discovered, but it's also destroying valuable ecosystems that could hold answers to many questions as well as cures for many diseases. An example of such things we are losing: In the rainforest they had found a tree that cured either type one AIDS or HIV (it's been a while since I read this) and they lost the tree either because they didn't mark it or it most likely was cut down, but the point is there was a cure and therefore there are probably still many cures to be found, but at the rate it's going everything will be lost be anything can be discovered.

As trees are so essential for life on earth for many different reasons, then continued deforestation will eventually lead to a barren and desolute planet. Many logging companies and communities (small and large) do depend on financial revenue from this activity, but ... the real price is our children's future.

They will find a way to genetically alter a tree so it grows at 10 times it's normal rate, or we just start making things out of mud again.

Simple- No more animals in our planet. People eventually die due to the destruction of the biological cycle.
