Wine in your soup, or just taking a sip while drinking? Some cooks put a little wine in soup to make it taste better. That's just good cooking. Gourmets might say that drinking wine is better with the meat course, since it would lead to a confused taste on the tongue if you had a really good soup and a first-class wine. Keep them apart.
