We sweat a lot and the heart rate goes up just like when we exercise so it would seem logical that we are burning calories right?

Infrared saunas are best. you might check out some sauna sites and do some comparisons.

What will happen is that you'll sweat a lot of water, That's the weight you'll be losing, and once you drink water, it's replace.

it will help with all the toxins in your body and that's a good thing but losing weight in the sauna instead of exercising is not a wise decision.

some people can die being in the sauna to long without rehydrate/water

make a wise decision Exercise! :)

No ... not unless your doin' jumping jacks (lol ... which I doubt) while you're in there. The only thing you lose in a sauna is "water weight", then as soon as you rehydrate yourself ... the weight returns. Losing weight in a sauna is a myth ... sorry.

yes, and the hotter you make the sauna the more calories you'll lose.

if your sauna is on the sun you'll lose weight in no time!
