Yes - fines don't work! They've got lots of money so a fine doesn't bother them!!
However the 'degradation' that comes with this for her (after all she thinks she's so much better than everyone else (meant sarcastically).
I'm getting more in favour of the name and shame torture (so to speak)

I think that it is about time,
Why should the stars think they can get away with things because they are stars.
It would be good if they come to the town where i live,
we have a small farm and when people do community service they end up having to clear out the pigs, cows etc.
Can you imagine Noami cleaning out the animals.

Yes couldn't agree more, it's easy for them to just get out their cheque books and carry on as usual. Paying fines definitely doesn't hit them where it hurts and is therefore not a punishment. Naomi is arrogant and needs bringing down a peg or two.

Totally agree! Fines are nothing to them compared to the money they earn, at least if there given community service instead the humiliation they feel is real punishment.

Above posters are properly desirable, she threw a cellular telephone an her maid. She did not do any penitentiary time, yet became sentenanced to communtity service for a week on the clean-up team on the dep. of Sanitation facility in new york in lengthy island.

Yes, I totally agree, they are not above the laws as they seem to thinnk and a fine for them is like a slap on the wrist.

I think the sentence was probably about right but the fact that the judge ruled no pictures of her should be taken was not right, if it's good enough for boy George it's good enough for her...lol

I really really really want to see her sweeping the streets. Boy George did it with dignity, I would love to see what she makes of it.
