Wow, Ouran high school host club is one of the best Shoujo's out there, but the underlying themes are great. If you can find it, Full Metal Panic Fumoffu, would really be a good one to watch. It is funny and has a touching story to accompany it.

Ranma 1/2 is the funniest romantic comedy animes, because it's about love interests of so many people until they fight over.

Other than Ouran High School Host Club there's Peach Girl, Fruits Basket, La Corda d'Oro, Honey and Clover.

ranma 1/2 a great classic
uhm..ouran high school host club,not really a very romantic one but it is a comedy with a pinch of romance here and there its cute.
