your knuckles do not get bigger if you constatly pop them. the only thing you are doing is getting rid of the air pockets that have developed there. So you aren't really popping knuckles the sound you hear is the air bubbles popping. got it? good.

your knuckles do not get bigger from cracking them, because you really are not cracking them. The noise is gas bubbles that are trapped between your joints in you fingers escaping.
