Milton Friedman makes some persuasive arguments towards legalization of marijuana. Why aren't those advocating legalization adopting his arguments? I think if they did, they would convince a lot of people.

There are a lot of stoners that just want to go and burn one up without the fear of going to jail. But a lot of people, especially the more politically active, what to see it legalized because they believe the government doesn't have the right to tell a person what they can or cannot do with their body.

It is legal in some states. More states are jumping on the band wagon. Many actors, artists are coming out now saying they to use. It will be legal here soon for everyone....
Only ignorant people consider marijuana a harmful drug.

Milton presents good arguments. The problem seems to be the $$ and abuse much like alcohol, there is a big potential for abuse. However Native peoples have always known of its medicainal qulaities and we often refer to her as grandmother
