hiya i have just found out after my miscarriage that i have a bacterial vaginosis - i have heard using Live Yoghurt on tampon will help clear it up ???? - i have been given metrodonizale aswell which i have started taking today ?
any 1 heard of this ??

Yes, i have heard of this but putting something else up there is going to make the infection worse. Eat plenty of yogurt and this will help.

If you're thinking of doing this however you might want to first consult with your physician to make sure that what you're suffering from is bacterial vaginosis and not something else.
AND...
Method 1:
This method requires you to paint the walls of the vagina with the yogurt. This method can get fairly messy of course so we recommend you to wear a pad while the yogurt is applied to avoid spillage.
Method 2:
This second method is less messy and requires you to use a tampon. You just need to slightly coat the tampon in the yogurt and insert it into the vagina. Just make sure you replace it every few hours

If your DR has given you a medicine..don't take anything over the counter, unless your DR says its ok. BTW Sorry to hear about your miscarriage! Just know that with children..there are no mistakes! And it wasnt right for you yet! :)

I have heard of it, but being treated by your physician is the best way to go. It sounds like he/she is treating you for it already. Unless they suggest putting food products into your vagina I would definitely pass!

Please dont put the yougert on your tampon.
Yougert is excellent to eat when you are on any kind of antibiotic, including Flagyl (Anti-infective) like you are taking. It helps get your bodies natural flora (good bacteria) in control and helps fight off the infection.
