My boytoy keeps rambling on about a horror movie that he can't remember the name of that he saw a long time ago (he's 25).
All he can remember is that in the movie, a house (not a killer in a house, a house) kills people. For instance, one part he remembers is that a person was trying to get out of the house by climbing out the window and the house closed the window and cut the guy in half.
Anyone have ANY idea what movie this is?

Some of these answer are coming from crake head junkies. If he saw it a long time ago, (ten years or more) It is most likely one of the Amityville movies, ( They remade it 2years ago/ The guy that was charged with the real murders of his family and blame his house just gave a interview last year) But it could be either sci fi movie where the house was run by computers, or the X-files which basicly rip off that late '70's movie for one Ep.

but in House on Haunted Hill, if I'm not mistaken there are 2 survivors climbed out the window before the house closed the window, and they won money

this may well be "The Haunting". the residing house comes alive and could no longer enable the chracters go away till (the main significant character) joins the ghosts that hang-out the residing house. i do no longer undergo in concepts a scene with a shower, yet this could maybe be a significant decision on your question.
