1. There are at least four types of IQ tests, each will give a different value, and
2. Older IQ tests did not test IQ, just trivia memory (like most game shows), and were very biased. Newer IQ tests are based more on universal concepts than individual facts.

I really don't believe most standard test are biased. If they are, it's against the unlearned. Some people say they're biased against women and minorities, but I've scored in the 130's on several dif I.Q. test and have done well on tests my whole life. Since I wasn't born super-smart, I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I spent my adolesence trying to learn something, anything. I read, read, read my entire life. Everything I could get my hands on- from textbooks to comic books to romance novels. And what I didn't read, I learned from television or conversation. I was a normal kid, playing kid games, but I also paid attention to my education. I believe Reading Is Fundamental and knowledge is the key to a successful life for the average person.

There are no perfect tests, especially ones evaluating human abilities, for a person with its intelligence, feeling and dynamically changing state can hardly be covered in a simple a,b,c test frame
