I'm talking not just a lil bit, your split image.

I've got a daughter that is a mini-me.
Theres this little twich in my gut when I let it rise up. It makes me step back and see all of the potential I had as a child and how beautiful I was and didn't know it. I remember feeling soooo ugly because my half sister would tell me I was and I'd look in the mirror and cry.
Now I see that mirror image as my little girl and realize all the wasted tears and all the wasted potential because I believed someone's negative words. *I'm not bitter because My sister was only a child herself.)
But I also see all the great things about me that I'd never seenbefore. She makes me have confidence and a fearless knowledge that just because I think its true it doesn't make it so.
My Daughter sees herself in me too. She is the one who designed my avatar and said that it looks just like us. I'm 37 and overweight so I know it isn't a split image but that's how she sees me! And that makes me smile!

None of my children look like me, and it sux bigtime. So unfair. All my chilren are no kidding split images of their Father. When I put all the work in. No, I dont really mind at all. But it would of been very nice to have someone say to me " Oh, (Gush,Gush) she looks just like you"

my daughter and I look sooo much alike...everyone has always mentioned it...she's grown now...one day we were in the grocery store...and some guy said...you 2 must be sisters...well...that made my day!

no child looks exactly like the parent. i am happy that my son looks like me more than his father. his father is ugly.
