It probably is confidential, but it depends on your age. Different states and different countries have different ages for when you medically become an adullt (for example in Australia a doctor cannot discuss your information with your parents after you turn 16). If you are worried you might fail the test then do not go for the job. Even if no-one finds out now, you will never in the future be able to obtain work with that company or it's affiliates and depending on the size of the company that could be a major set back.

They'll most likely just tell you an excuse of why they arent hiring, but no they wont notify your parents, thats the job of police or school officials.
