Using the rates that you are quoting, 1 Mexican peso equals 55 Chilean pesos.
The rates you are using are somewhat out of date.
According to xe.com,
1.00 US Dollar = 538.300 Chile Pesos
1.00 US Dollar = 11.1385 Mexico Pesos

Therefore,
1 Mexico Peso = 48.3279 Chile Pesos
The Mexican peso is worth much more.
