Quickly, how many out there find the hollywood women empowering shows annoying. I have to say, Oxyegn channel, kudos. But Sex in the City...2 has beens and 2 on the way, how could anyone see anything good in it? The writting blew, the episodes literally leaving one wondering what just happened since they were sleepingg...sorry I just could never find a horsefaced lead trying to be cool, engage my interest.

Sorry .. I loved the series, though not all of the episodes. I think Sarah Jessica Parker was fun and held the series together. The clothes she wore in the 6th (last) season were georgeous!!

There is a reason this show was a hit. Just show you know it's not 'Hollywood' it's set was in New York and filmed in New York. Just like any show there were episodes I didn't care for. But there is a reason it ran as a top of the charts popular hit show on HBO. It wasn't a flop, the only reason HBO didn't continue is the cast wanted to go out while they were still on top of the charts. I hated to see it come to a close and so did the majority of people who knew about the show.
There are some people just now discovering the show now that it's running on regular cable and TV.
It's interesting how you comment on 'Hollywood' type shows and then comment about the appearance of one of the lead characters. To do so is shallow and superficial.
There should be people of all kinds on TV we don't need them all to be beautiful. or hold up such high superficial standards... It should be diverse just like life.
Sounds to me like you are pretty bitter about something!
