Good riddance to her.Any mother who could leave her children for a man is no good in my book.Get legal custody of your kids now! Get a divorce and sue her for child support and abandonment.Good luck to you.Take good care of your babies..

It really depends on why she (I'm assuming) had the affair. The novelty of the affair wears rather quickly, however she might have shame and guilt which takes longer. Plus, even if the novelty wears off, you might have to accept that she might not come back to you.

It is a shame how many people respond so coldly when lives and children's lives are involved. It is not as easy as people make it seem to just "let go" when you have made an emotional investment in someone.

Whatever the future holds, start to take care of yourself. You need to be strong for the kids and for your own well being.

Good luck

if it's gonna wear off it will be about six months to a year, after that the quilt sets in then they start wondering if they did the right thing. Thats if she has a kind bone in her body, but hey your a stand up guy why take her back? there are plenty of women that would love you and help yo take care of your kids if everything you say is on the up and up. Besides could you really kiss her if yathought about what she might be doing with him? And yeah yo would never trust her agin for sur and it's not worth that hell for no one.

hi, sorry for what happened i know it can feel like the end of the world, but your wife obviously thought that something was missing from your relationship, if you did not treat her badly then maybe she thought it lacked excitement or romance or the other guy made her feel good about herself etc, you could sit there all day and come up with reasons, but you have to move on with your life now, first you need to establish some sort of contact with your kids if your wife wont talk to you then you need to go and see a solicitor to arrange access, i personally wouldn't hold any sort of dream of you and your wife getting back together, she has clearly made her choice and if she ever did come back would you be able to ever trust her again, why couldn't she have just said to you that she wasn't happy and maybe you could have had a heart to heart and changed the things she wasn't happy with, try and get out with friends etc and socialise and get on with things and maybe you will meet someone else who loves you for the way you are and will treat you the way you deserve to be treated and make you feel happy and loved again, good luck........

they say the honeymoon stage lasts less than 2 years. they always seem to come back, when they see the other person for who they really are. but once betrayal happens it is hard to ever go back and feel the same about that person as we once did. no doubt she will come back, but it may be too late by than, u may have moved on with your life.

Your question isn't clear. Did your wife leave you, taking the children with her, OR did she leave you & the children?
