According to the 2000 census there were 54,601 males aged 15 or 16 in Los Angeles.
Not all of them will be gay, of course, or available. This makes your search for a partner more difficult, but at least it narrows it down a bit.
Hint: if you get yourself a life before you try to get yourself a life partner it makes the latter exercise more likely to be satisfactory.
