Liberal arts is a general study of many subjects - it's not politics. It's what people pick as their major when they don't want to choose one. They are majoring in "indecision."

A liberal arts degree has nothing to do with politics. It just means to picked a bunch of different subjects and didn't learn anything. It's a BS degree. Actually at most Universities, English, Political Science, Philosophy, Sociology, Psychology, etc. are considered "liberal arts" degrees.

wouldn't' that depend whether you were considered a conservative before you choose Liberal Arts as your course of study? and further what is the relation of the 2? one is your point of political view or life style, and the other is a university earned degree. Sorry somewhere here I lost it.....

Liberal Arts is bullsh*t degree (which I have by the way) that means you can read and write.
I took mainly philosophy and English classes to acquire the credits for the degree. After all, there is that degree Political Science.
