Hi Neo. I was surprised to find something related to MBBS here on Yahoo Answers. I will be applying for MBBS in India this year too. After 12th, I spent a whole year preparing for entrance exams from a good coaching centre. You haven't mentioned whether you are done with 12th or you are still studying in school.

As per my knowledge, studying in the countries you have mentioned is good.. And its an advantage if you are a guy. Some of my friends have applied for admission to colleges in China. Two of them are already in. A friend of mine is currently waiting to get a visa. Some students from my school are already doing their Masters in Phillipines.

You must understand the pros and cons of stuyding in these countries. First of all, you will face problems with the language and communicating with the local people. Some of these colleges are not recognised by the MCI, making it difficult for you to practice Medicine in India later. One of the students from the previous batch of my school had a serious problem with ragging in a leading Chinese medical college.

You must try to contact the students who are currently studying in the college you are planning to join.

College fees vary. I wouldn't recommend Russian or even Bulgarian medical colleges. But I have heard Indian students in large numbers have been flocking to Bulgaria for education. Perhaps, they are rumours..

I would still advice you to consider studying in India. The education available in India is definitely the best. You could try answering various college level examinations if you think you can't get through the AIPMT.

If you not Medicine, you can always go in for Engineering.

Here's wishing you the best for your future.
