If your best and life-long friend in the past had a crush on your wife while you were married and nothing came of it or ever will....
Would you forgive them and continue to be friends?
I ask because this is what happened and my husband is very stubborn. He will not mend the relationship with his friend and our whole family is really torn up about this. I would never cheat especially with his friend whom I consider a brother and my child refers to as "uncle". The friend has never made passes at me or behaved inappropriately but my husband suspects that he likes me "that" way. I just feel guilty because although I did nothing wrong this fight is over me.

He thinks that he has a crush because apparently he saw him more than once checking out my T&A but I have never caught him oggling me.

In response to Bethy:
I care because he has been like a brother to me for the past five years. Our families used to hang out as one big group but now we are all split up.
I doubt my husband because I have never caught our friend checking me out or trying to flirt. My husband has also accused me of cheating before because of other men looking at me.
BTW I clearly asked for a MAN's perspective on this so unless you're a tranny...

WAIT WAIT WAIT!!!!!
Just read your addition! This guy never admitted to having a crush, its not like he was drunk one night and said "You know, Rufus, if you ever die and leave behind that little ole wife of yers, I'd love to be the guy to tend over her 'needs'!"???
He only stared at your "t&a", give me a break, if your lunkheaded husband has a problem with that, he better find an effing eunick, homosexual male, or a heterosexual chick to have aas a best freind, because regardless of what you look like nearly every guy he will have as a friend is gonna check you out from time to time.
He's a frigging baby
Yes I would. Frankly as harsh as this is, I value his friendship and our relationship probally more in some sense than that of me and my wife. This stating, he and I are like brothers.
As corny as it is, we are constantly mistaken for brothers regardless of only a passing resemblance.
Regardless we're only talking about a crush, not an actual affair.
But then again, I can see how it would be hard to maintain a relationship, wondering if your best friend is listening to you, or fantasizing about your wife.

I think its because of the "brother" type of relationship you have with his friend he is insecure about. Some times us guys go through a stage where we want that to be a closeness for us only. Not one of the buddies. Hopefully he can get over it.

Trust me on this one.....your hubby has every reason to not wish for his best and life long friend to be around okay. And if it is HIS best friend why are you so concerned anyways??? Why is your whole family so torn up about this?? It isn't their concern it is your hubby concern his problem not ANYONE else's. Look let those 2 work it out and you all stay out of it. It isn't about YOU per say okay? It is about his friend's FEELINGS towards you and how that is going to affect their friendship. Therefore the fight is not about you...got it? So get over yourself.
Your husband knows his friend better than you do and so what you think he "suspects" he probably "knows"...why are you doubting your husband?? YOu yourself put in the question line..."CRUSH on.." meaning...umm yeah that it would be like his friend would like you in "that" way!
If you really care about this, you will totally LEAVE IT ALONE!!

Quit playing tease with these two boys!!! LOL, just kidding. I say your husband has a jealousy problem and the friend is human. It's hard to not look at T&A that is of quality, no matter who it belongs too.
You should send me a picture, so I can see what all the fuss is about.
Spoken like a honest man.

Sounds like your husband is a little insecure about your relationship.
How did you all find out this guy had a crush on you?

He should get over it, if his friend did not try to do anything wrong.
